Corporate Social Responsibilities

We share in the view that the public prefer companies that are seen to be positively contributing to the environment and society. A good reputation is one of the most valuable intangible assets a company can have, and maintaining it is a key motivation for Enterprise Insurance to engage in responsible business.

Our Company’s commitment to its responsibilities to society is founded on our deep seated belief in returning to society a share of our success; a success that hinges on good community relations and cordial co-existence with both the immediate and the wider environs of our business operations.

Enterprise Insurance’s approach to corporate social responsibilities (CSR) is an identification of some key social areas such as health, education and others. Very unique and significant about our CSR strategy is the active involvement of staff which allows staff to personally contribute financially towards some of the CSR engagements of the Company.

Some of the significant social responsibility activities we have engaged in include;

  • Donations to health institutions
  • Renovation of facilities belonging to health institutions
  • Contributions to education funds
  • Donations to schools
  • Contributions to cause of charity
  • Donations/support to traditional authorities

We have also partnered others to promote some ideals and national causes. Believing that the success and continuous sustainability of our national economy provides an impetus for the growth of our industry and for that matter our company, we elect to support areas of national focus and interest. Our involvement in projects such as the Barclays Miles ahead is clear testaments of our commitment towards the effort of the Government of Ghana at growing selected sectors of the country’s economy into key sectors for increase revenue, employment avenues, etc for our people.

Some CSR Activities of Enterprise Insurance Company Limited

  • Rehabilitation of the Eastern Wing of the Fourth Floor of the Child Care Department of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital at a cost of Gh¢40,000 (¢400 million)
  • Donation of mattresses to the Child Care Department of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital through staff contribution.
  • Annual financial donation to Ghana National Trust Fund
  • Donation towards appeals for funds for treatment latest being a donation by the company and staff to Master Ayirebi, a hole-in-heart patient 
  • Donation of tables, chairs and books to deprive schools all over the country
  • Donation to the Otumfuo Education Fund
