Trevor Trefgarne
Board Chairman

He is the Chairman of Garro Securities Limited and Recovery Trust Plc in the United Kingdom, and non executive director of Franklin Templeton Investment Funds, Gartmore High Income Trust PLC and Global Yatirim Holding A.S. Mr Trefgarne is British. He joined the Company's Board in 1998.

George Otoo
Managing Director

He is a qualified Chartered Insurance Practitioner of the Chartered Insurance Institute of the UK and an Executive Council member of the Ghana Insurers' Association, the Insurance Institute of Ghana, and the West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA). He is also a Director of Consortium House Limited, Enterprise Life Assurance Company Limited (ELAC), Epack Investment Fund Limited, Mainstream Reinsurance Company and A Council Member of the Ghana Stock Exchange.

Mr. Otoo joined EIC in 1981 and was appointed Managing Director in 1999.

Magaret Clarke - Kwesie

She is a former Member of Parliament for Ga South, a former Deputy Minister of Health and Education and a former Minister of State in the Office of the President. Prior to her entry into politics, Mrs Clarke-Kwesie was a Principal Economic Planning Officer at the Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning. She has also served on the boards of the Oil Palm Research Institute, the Scientific Instrumentation Centre of CSIR and the GIHOC Cannery of Nsawam. She has been on the Board of EIC since 1984. She is currently in private business.

Martin Eson-Benjamin

Martin Eson-Benjamin is a Director and Chief Executive of EMPRETEC Ghana Foundation, Chairman of Multimedia Broadcasting (JOY FM) and the West Africa Business Association (WABA). He is also a member of the Presidential Commission on Pensions, the Ghana Investors' Advisory Council (GIAC) and a member of the Public Sector Reform Advisory Group. Mr. Eson-Benjamin is also a former Managing Director of Ghana Breweries Limited (GBL) He is a Ghanaian and joined the EIC Board in February 2003.

Ken Ofori-Atta

He is an Investment Banker and the Executive Chairman of Databank Financial Services Limited. He is a director of Ventures & Acquisitions Limited, Chairman of Trust Bank Limited of The Gambia and the EPACK Mutual Fund. Ken is also a member of the President's Ghana Investors' Advisory Council. He has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Columbia University in New York and an MBA from Yale School of Management. He is a Ghanaian. He joined the EIC Board in 1998.

Keli Gadzekpo

Keli is co-founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Databank and has over 15 years experience in investment banking. Since co-founding Databank, he has contributed to the development of the capital market and the stock exchange in Ghana through his oversight of Databank Brokerage Limited.

Keli is the Chairman of the Databank Foundation. He is also on the boards of Home Finance Company of The Gambia and Multimedia Broadcasting Limited of Ghana.

Keli holds a B.Sc in Accounting from the Brigham Young University and is a CPA from the US. He is also a Mason Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University where he earned a Masters degree in Public Administration.

Charles Odei

He is a retired Deputy Managing Director of the Ghana Commercial Bank Limited and a director of Consortium House Limited. He is a professional Banker with over thirty years of experience. He is a Ghanaian and has been on the EIC Board since 1992.
